How does the Auto difficulty work?

Auto tracks your rating and your last few games. Win a few in a row and it promotes you a level; lose a few and it eases off — at the lowest level it even lets the engine make honest mistakes so the game stays winnable. A manual level (1–10) is always available in Profile → Game.

What's the difference between Platinum and Diamond?

Platinum gives you unlimited Game Review with coach notes, retry training, and auto insights, plus five deep reviews a month from our most advanced AI. Diamond runs every review on the advanced AI and adds the Coach's Overview — a cross-game assessment of your recurring weaknesses, strengths, and a focus plan.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Chess AI, or the App Store app → your profile → Subscriptions. Canceling keeps your plan active until the end of the paid period.

Do I need an account?

No — the app is fully playable without one. An account (Apple, Google, or email) backs up your games, ratings, and coaching reports so they survive a new phone or reinstall.

My games didn't sync — what do I check?

Make sure you're signed in (Profile → Account) and online; the app pushes finished games automatically and retries on the next launch. If a sync error shows in Profile, tap Retry.

How do I delete my data?

Swipe-delete any game in History to remove it locally and from your account. To delete your whole account, email us from the address associated with it — see our privacy policy.

Why did my free Game Review not work?

Free accounts include one review per week — it resets every Monday. Platinum and Diamond have unlimited reviews.
